On Sunday 2nd August the NICE Programme set to work at Stockton International Riverside Festival. Following the theme of SIRF 2015 ‘Instant Light’ the NICE artists planned and ran a drop in participatory workshop for members of the public.
Members of the public were invited to take a blank matchbox and decorate it, responding to the festival theme. Each person was then asked to create a silhouette of a personal item from their bag or pocket and put it inside their matchbox.
