Studio Bursaries Available

Navigator North are offering emerging artists, from the global majority, the opportunity to apply for a studio bursary with us at Dundas House, Middlesbrough.

“Global majority” is a collective term for people of African, Asian, indigenous, Latin American, or mixed-heritage backgrounds, who constitute approximately 85 percent of the global population.

The bursary will include –
– 12 month studio space at Dundas House between January – December 2026
– Regional visits and introductions
– One to one advice sessions
– Showcasing opportunities

Applicants should be based in the Tees Valley and have an active, visual arts practice.

Applications are open until 30.11.25

We are interested in hearing about your practice and how you would use and benefit from the use of a studio space with us. We will use this information to assess applications and match your needs to what we can offer.
