Art Land was a visual arts event which took place in Bishop Auckland, a market town in the west of County Durham from the 10th – 26th April 2009. Navigator North was established following the success of this and other projects delivered by the company directors.
Art Land aimed to demonstrate how artists can explore perception of everyday objects, experiences and locations through temporary site specific interventions, installations and performances in publicly accessible non-arts venues.
Art Land was kindly supported by Arts Council England – North East, Bishop Auckland Town Council, Wear Valley District Council and Go-North East.
