We’re really passionate about getting the message out about Artists’ Union England Good Practice Charter. As a Tees Valley based, North East artist led organisation we know how important it is to value and recognise all artists.
The Good Practice Charter for Artists is a set of principles that cover freelance artists’ working conditions. The principles include H&S, valuing and rewarding artists, workers collective voice, equality & diversity, social responsibility and mental health. (Artists’ Union England)
If last year taught us anything it’s how we need to put this into positive action. We’ve registered for this and are working towards ensuring that we can put this into practice.
